I have the honour to invite reference to my

2'open despatch No.467 of 14th October, 1932, on the

subject of the Estimates for 1933, and to refer herein to certain matters which are at present confidential.

2. Under Public Works Department Special Expenditure, Head 32, Subheads 21 and 22, will be found the sums of $205,742 and $68,578 for additional transmitting and receiving equipment for the Wireless Telegraph Service. These are the items referred to in my confidential telegram No.177 of 22nd August last and the question of whether this money shall be expended by this Government or by Imperial and International Communications, Limited, depends on the final decision regarding the proposals of the Company to take over the local Wireless Services.

3. In connection with the proposed new country residence for the Governor at Fanling (Head 34 Subhead 104) I invite reference to my confidential despatch of 32 17th September last.
